aluminio.ar is an information site about the aluminium industry in Argentina, owned by INSUMOSONLINE S.R.L., CUIT (tax ID) 33-71652287-9, with registered address at Teodoro Vilardebó 1853, CP 1407, Ciudad Autónoma de Buenos Aires. Contact: info@aluminio.ar. Using the site means accepting these terms.

Tools

The calculators, comparisons and converters give results for guidance only, calculated with theoretical formulas and data from published standards (EN 755-2, ASTM E140). They do not replace a professional’s calculation or the manufacturer’s specifications. Before manufacturing, buying or building, confirm sizes, weights and properties with your supplier. aluminio.ar is not responsible for decisions made solely on the basis of these results.

The drawings you load are processed in your browser and are not uploaded to our server.

Indicators

The indicators are taken from official public sources, cited in each case: the World Bank (CC BY 4.0 licence), the Central Bank of the Argentine Republic, INDEC and the datos.gob.ar portal (CC BY 4.0 licence). They are reference information: they are not a sale quotation or financial or investment advice. They may be subject to delays or errors at the source.

News

The news items are our own summaries, written with the help of artificial intelligence from stories published by news media, and translated into English automatically. We always cite the outlet and link to the original story, which retains all its rights; we do not reproduce their full texts or their photos. The images that accompany the stories are generated with artificial intelligence or come from Unsplash, credited to their author, and are illustrative.

Trademarks and content

The design, our own texts, the tools and the aluminio.ar brand belong to its owner. Third-party trademarks mentioned belong to their owners and are named for information only. Perfiles de Aluminio and Metrar are companies that sponsor aluminio.ar.

The site uses open-source software: pdf.js (Apache 2.0), occt-import-js and OpenCascade (LGPL 2.1), ACadSharp and the .NET runtime to read DWG files (MIT), jsPDF (MIT), qrcode-generator by Kazuhiko Arase for the QR codes (MIT), and the Bricolage Grotesque and Onest typefaces (SIL Open Font License). Their licences are published alongside each file.

Enquiries and quotes

Enquiries you send from the site are answered by the aluminio.ar team, except "Get a die quote" requests, which are answered by Metrar if you authorise us to pass them on. If you request a quote, prices, lead times and conditions are confirmed in writing when we reply; nothing published on the site is an offer for sale.

Changes and governing law

We may update these terms; the version in force is always the one published on this page. They are governed by the laws of the Argentine Republic.
